ROGER Pogoy is day-to-day for TNT in its PBA Philippine Cup semifinals series against Rain or Shine.
But the veteran guard thinks he's not ready to answer the call for the Tropang 5G come Game 3 of the best-of-seven duel on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Pogoy said he'll have his hurting hamstring checked by team doctors again on Saturday after sitting out almost three quarters of the team's 113-105 overtime win against the Elasto Painters on Friday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
"Sabi ng doctor day-to-day, pero Sunday I doubt. Parang hindi pa ata kaya talaga," he admitted.
"Sabi pahinga muna talaga."

Pogoy finished with 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field in Game 2, all of which he scored in the first quarter.
But the Cebuano guard out of Far Eastern University had himself taken out a few seconds in the second quarter after feeling he aggravated his hamstring injury.
"Na-feel ko na," he recalled of the incident. "Tapos nag time out, pag balik, pa layup ako, wala ng lakas. So sabi ko tigil na."
Pogoy actually had been playing with the injury as early as TNT's second knockout game against Magnolia in the quarterfinals.
"Nung Game 2 pa lang ng quarterfinals, napi-feel ko na," he said.

But Pogoy was on a hot streak in the playoffs, where he averaged 24 points. 4.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in the Magnolia series.
He then dropped 28 points against Rain or Shine in TNT's 98-91 win in Game 1, by which time he began to feel his injury was worsening.
By Game 2, his hurting hamstring finally caught up with him. (RG)
