TNT gears up for its PBA grand slam bid after signing up veteran guard Simon Enciso for its campaign in the Philippine Cup.
The Tropang 5G welcomed back Enciso to its fold as the 34-year-old Fil-Am parted ways with old team San Miguel as an unrestricted free agent shortly after the Commissioner's Cup.
Enciso is certainly an important piece added to the core of the team that just won a second straight championship in Season 49 by beating Barangay Ginebra in a tightly-fought seven-game finals during the mid-season conference.
This marks the second time Enciso will be suiting up for the telecommunication franchise.
He previously played for one season with TNT, which acquired his services from Alaska in a trade for Mike Digregorio.

Enciso was part of the Tropang 5G team that finished runner-up to Barangay Ginebra Kings in the Philippine Cup bubble in Clark, Pampanga.
It was with San Miguel however, that he won a championship, not just once but twice during the 2022 Philippine Cup and 2023-24 Governors' Cup.
The entry of Enciso boosted a TNT backcourt that was recently orphaned by the season-ending injury suffered by main man Jayson Castro.
He's also expected to add experience and savvy to the team's platoon of guards composed of Commissioner's Cup Finals MVP Rey Nambatac, Brian Heruela, and rookie Jielo Razon.(RG)
